Samuel B. Bartlow, 83, of Southwest Greensburg, died Tuesday, August 29, 2017 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  He was born March 4, 1934 in Greensburg, a son of the late Burton and Ethel (Swift) Bartlow.  Prior to retirement he had been a longtime employee and law enforcement officer for Southwest Greensburg Borough.  He is a member of the Community Church of Hecla, was an avid bike rider and loved all animals.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother: Leslie Bartlow.  He is survived by 3 sons whom he loved dearly: Joseph S. Bartlow and wife Tracie, Timothy D. Bartlow and wife Patricia all of Greensburg and Todd K. Bartlow and wife Joy of New Stanton; seven grandchildren that he adored: Travis, Adam, Joseph Jr., Chelsi, Taylor and Tori Bartlow and Nicole Cheplick; his companion: Jennifer Dyer of Southwest Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral service will begin at 11 AM Saturday in the funeral home with The Rev. Dr. Dale L. Porterfield officiating.  Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.  www.bachafh.com
