Robert E. Walthour, 89, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017 in his home.  He was born October 24, 1927 in Greensburg, a son of the late Carl and Jennie A. (Stephenson) Walthour.  Prior to retirement he had been employed by PPG Industries, South Greensburg.  He was an Army Air Corps Veteran serving in World War II.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother: Raymond Walthour; and his sister: June Wabnitz.  He is survived by his sister: Patricia Hunter of Greensburg and her companion Chris Hofmeister of Trafford; and several nieces and nephews.  There will be no public visitation.  Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 10 AM Saturday in Harrold’s United Church of Christ Cemetery with The Rev.
