Baby Child 03

Preston Albert Linhart

March 2, 2018

Preston Albert Linhart earned his angel wings on March 2, 2018 after passing away peacefully in his mother’s arms.  Preston or ‘The Tank’ as his family lovingly referred to him, died of complications from a lifelong battle with Lymphangiomatosis. Preston was a fighter from his first to his last breath.  In spite of his disease he was a very happy child with an infectious smile that brought joy to all those around him.  He loved being surrounded by other children, especially his three older brothers.  He loved riding his wagon around the hospital and greeted everyone he came in contact with, affectionately being dubbed “the mayor”. Preston is survived by his parents, William and Lauren Linhart; three brothers, Rylan, Carson and Hudson; maternal grandparents, David and Darlene Bosiljevac; paternal grandparents, William Linhart and Helen Deasy; and aunts and uncles, Patrick Linhart, Tracy Hall, Brandon Kolich and Chelsea Bosiljevac.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Paul Kolich and his paternal grandmother, Deborah Linhart. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Tuesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Paul Parish, Greensburg.  Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
