Phillip M. Firestone, 82, of Pleasant Unity, died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017, at his home. He was born June 21, 1935, in Greensburg, a son of the late William M. and Gladys I. (Bigham) Firestone. Prior to retirement, Phil worked at Walworth Co. in Waco, Texas, then, after retirement, he enjoyed working on the family farm. He is survived by his wife, Jean M. (Ruoff) Firestone; three sons, Jay P., and wife, Kimberly, Gary A., and wife, Tatia, and Eric R. Firestone, and wife, Dawn, all of Pleasant Unity; and five grandchildren, Kacey, Kurt, Chelsey, Chad and Brittany. At Phil's request, there will be no visitation or viewing. LEO M.
