Norman J. “Storman Norman” Caldwell, 84, of Youngwood, died Friday, March 30, 2018 in his home. He was born September 1, 1933 in Jeannette, a son of the late Richard and Pearl (Whigham) Caldwell. Prior to retirement he had been employed by Power X, Youngwood. He was a former member of the Fort Allen Firemen’s Club. He was an avid fisherman and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Norman enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and playing and coaching softball. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia J. (Vadjun) Caldwell on June 25, 2014; and his daughter, Sherry Griffin. He is survived by his son, Darrin R. Caldwell and wife Jenny, of Kent, OH; two daughters, Cindy (Caldwell) Detore and husband Mike, of Greensburg and Noreen (Caldwell) McKeel and husband Pete, of Herminie; four grandchildren, Nicholas McKeel (Alisha), Joshua McKeel, Richell Detore (fiancé Steve) and Justin Detore; and two great-grandchildren, Lucas and Jayde. Friends will be received from 12:30 to 1:30 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg where a funeral service will begin at 1:30 PM with the Rev. Robert A.
