Melanie L. “Mello” Ohr, 38, of Greensburg, died Thursday, July 27, 2017 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  She was born November 7, 1978 in Greensburg.  She was a 1997 graduate of Hempfield Area High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg with a Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice.  She was a member of Harrold Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greensburg.  Melanie had a passion for dancing, helping inner city youth and New Orleans restoration.  She also enjoyed gardening and crafting.  Melanie is preceded in death by her infant nephew: Landon Townsend.  She is survived by her father: Carl E. Ohr II of Greensburg and fiancé Joan Jones; her mother: Denise (Cichetti) Ohr of Greensburg; her sister: Melissa (Ohr) Townsend and husband Troy of Greensburg; and her nephew: Jaxson Townsend.  Friends will be received from 5 to 7 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg where a funeral service will begin at 7 PM with The Rev. Robert A.
