Gertrude Louise Schnader

Gertrude Louise Schnader, 99, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in Hempfield Manor.  She was born March 7, 1919 in Wendell, a daughter of the late Harry and Viola Peoples.  She formerly had been employed by Jack’s Shoe Store in Jeannette.  She was a member of Middletown United Methodist Church and several senior citizens organizations.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Schnader; her son, Harry R. Peoples; two brothers, Benjamin and John Peoples; and a sister, Mary Wallace.  She is survived by a daughter-in- law, Cheryl Carpenter; 2 grandchildren, Stacey Peoples and Tiffany Peoples, all of Greensburg and several nieces and nephews.
