Eugene G. Hambersky, 91, of Hostetter, died Friday, October 13, 2017.  He was born June 27, 1926 in Hostetter, a son of the late John V. and Elizabeth (Goodman) Hambersky.  He was a US Army veteran of WWII and prior to retirement worked at Westinghouse in Blairsville.  He was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Whitney, the Hostetter Slovak Club and Latrobe Elks.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia A. (Mehal) Hambersky, and his sister, Eleanor L. Rummell.  He is survived by his children, Allen E. Hambersky and wife Virginia of Apollo and Denise King and husband Jamie of Fredericksburg, VA, 5 grandchildren, Luke, Dalton, Keith, Jennie and Patrick; and 4 great grandchildren.  Friends will be received from 10 to 11 AM Monday at the Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home, Inc., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity, at which time a funeral liturgy will be held with The Rev. John A. Sedlak as celebrant.  Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.
