Edward G. Smiley

Edward G. Smiley, 69, of Greensburg, died Sunday, February 18, 2018 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  He was born October 26, 1948 in McKeesport, a son of the late Michael and Helen (Hruby) Smiley.  Prior to retirement he had been a steelworker.  He was Catholic by faith and a graduate of McKeesport High School.  He is survived by two sons, Edward Michael Smiley and wife Becky, of Greensburg and Jason Smiley and wife Elaine, of Summerville, SC; his daughter, Tullyne Turnbull and husband Eric, of Greensburg; and 12 grandchildren.  There will be no public visitation.  Family and friends are invited to attend a committal service at 1:30 PM Wednesday in the chapel at Westmoreland County Memorial Park with Mr. Paul J.
